Driving Healthcare Transformation
18th October 2016
The King's Fund, Cavendish Square
An exclusive one day leadership summit and dinner bringing together NHS executives to explore IT strategies to deliver excellence and facilitate collaboration in health and social care settings.
The HIMSS UK Executive Leadership Summit invites leaders from the healthcare IT community, NHS England and NHS Digital to spend a day discussing the latest developments in healthcare IT and how it can meet the efficiency challenges in the NHS.
The invited delegates work as CIOs or CCIOs in the NHS, or are leaders from NHS England and NHS Digital. Together, they will work through a packed agenda which is designed to maximise learning opportunities. Throughout the day influential speakers and thought leaders will be tackling the issues surrounding better use of data to support intelligent commissioning.
Topics will include: the new focus on CIO’s and CCIOs as delivery agents for a paperless NHS. The digital landscape following the Watcher Review's data recommendations and data security. Guests will take part in the interactive workshops and panel discussions.
“HIMSS events have an element of prestige associated with them. ELS is known for being a great place to share thoughts and best practice amongst likeminded CIOs. The networking and dinner element was really unique from a peer to peer perspective.”
The Executive Leadership Summit Dinner
The Leadership Summit concludes with drinks and dinner in the Orangery at the King's Fund to which all speakers and delegates are invited. Delegates will strengthen links made during the day and extend their network.
